Warrior + Hero Farming
Soloing is fun, but playing in Godmode is better. Sure you miss out on some drops and have to split the gold but when you can kill harder stuff with ease why wouldn't you?
So what do you need? Well firstly you need to have a monk hero with a bar that looks like this:
Blessed Signet
Life Barrier {E}
Life Bond
Strength of Honour
Vital Blessing
Balthazar's Spirit
Essence Bond
Watchful Spirit
Protection Prayers: 14-16
Divine Favor: 12
Smiting Prayers: 8 (I think? SoH was giving me +6 damage)
Then we give our warrior something like this:
Vigorous Spirit
Flail
Magehunter's Strike {E}
Protector's Strike
Standing Slash
Sun and Moon Slash
Dolyak Signet
Live Vicariously
Strength: 11
Healing Prayers: 8
Swordsmanship: 16
For your build really all you need is a build that hits a lot, quickly so you're healed for a lot, quickly (easy enough right?). I opted for two 1/2 attack skills and Sun and Moon Slash since it hits twice for more healing. Even though combined with the above monk bar this seems like overkill, you will need all of it for some areas (or if you just wanna aggro the world, whatever floats your boat).
Storming The Kournan Base!
Exit from the Sunspear Sanctuary and into the Jahai Bluffs. Setup all of your enchantments on your warrior and proceed to hug the north mountains heading east dispatching everything that gets in your way. Make sure your monk hero is well away from the fight to avoid any chance that he/she will come close to your bubble. Once you arrive, just pull groups and start killing.
A few notes:
Kill the elite guards first. Staggering Blow gives you weakness so you won't kill stuff as fast. They should be your first priority.
Remove the elite spears. Never Surrender!, Wild Throw, Stand Your Ground!... ugh, all so annoying to our slaugher.
The zealots are annoying to say the least. Armour of Sanctity with Veil of Thorns... it's a slow killing process if you use a build like mine where you only have two +damage skills.
Eventually you'll come to something like this once you've cleared everything out:
As long as you're attacking, you shouldn't die. Simple as that. The experience is pretty nice since you aren't sharing it and there are a lot of enemies to kill. Make sure to trade in those Kournan Necklaces for rare scrolls at the sanctuary (10 for a scroll but a profit is a profit).
Desha Vestibule:
Why here? Djinns are fun and we can get Lightbringer points along with some high-end chests. Personally I avoid everything on the east side of this map simply because... well, I die. Ebon Dust Aura and Soothing Images are the two things a warrior hates the most.
Stick to the west and center of this area which allows you to kill three bosses. Personally I would avoid the Roaring Ether mesmer boss at the very north simply because the Gravebane Behemoths and Scytheclaw groups are a problem. Deep wound and a lot of degen; too much to handle and just not worth it (no lightbringer points either).
For multiple Roaring Ether groups, try to drop the Djinns first just to play it safe. Although you should kill stuff fairly quickly there is no need to put yourself at risk. Against the Dervish Djinn boss, take out the other Djinns first and then it. You'll have 2-3 Roaring Ether on you but you should still be able to manage your energy well enough to use your skills (Balthazar's + Zealous weapon works nicely for me). When there is a Diamond Djinn present, keep your health above 50% to avoid the deep wound; it spells certain doom. Vital Blessing helps, but it isn't fool-proof. This is a little harder to do against the Diamond Djinn boss, but just need Vigorous up and keep hitting stuff.
The experience here is REALLY nice (300+ a kill if you can get the blessings for Lightbringer still) and the drops are great as well even with another guy sucking it all away. Best of all, you can expect to see multiple chests if you clear the center and west rooms of this explorable.
Have fun with it, you should be able to clear just about anywhere that doesn't have enchantment removal. These were just the first places that I decided to experiment with.

Umm.. The idea of this farming build IS to use a hero. Seeing as all the hero has to do is stand there, keeping maintained enchants up..
Anyway, good job Racthoh

Thanks Racthoh. well something else, i some times run my monk with [skill=text]Retribution[/skill] + [skill=text]Holy Wrath[/skill] + whatever else for some ares. only down fall is 4 enchantment only just thought i toss that out.
Edit-Ya i know guys just thought i toss it out there. to mix it up. But ya over all the Bonding works over the Ret+Holy. also wasn't sure how much dmg i was taking anyways. because i can't see how much it being dealt back or pay attention to how much i was taking in my self.
To bad the heroes can't warp in the first part of the deep for this weekend... sigh.... any one have luck in the Urgoz's Warren??

And that is how I farmed Sunjiang District for Kaolin weapons during the tripple green weekend.
Haven't thought of using it on the Djinns, I should try it soon though. Sounds awesome ^^

Agreed with Deluxe, you aren't taking enough damage for it to really be worthwhile.

The Djinns were the better of the two places I tried so far, but it took slightly longer.

Looks really nice Racthoh. I'm sure theres many more places you can farm like this. Gonna try against the Elite Kournans now, then I'll probably try some different enemies.

Hehe it's so fun. This is also do-able with an Ele, using Earth Magic line.. Damage can be pretty much reduced to 0 all the time.

Which boss? The only damage being redirected to your monk should already be reduced by a lot from Life Barrier, Bond, and your naturally high armour level.
